WWE NXT is the offshoot of the world-famous WWE wrestling brand. Originally NXT was to operate as a feeder division for the main WWE roster. However, the NXT brand attracted a large following among wrestling fans with its talented wrestlers and engaging storylines.

In 2017 NXT UK held its inaugural event in Blackpool’s Winter Gardens. Tyler Bate won the first UK title and was crowned Champion in front of a packed house. Now the star-studded event is set to return to the spot where it all started! The Winter Gardens has been announced as the venue for NXT UK TakeOver: Blackpool II.

On November 16, pro wrestler Triple H announced on twitter that #NXTUKTakeOver: Blackpool II would take place on Sunday, January 12. with ticket sales for the event starting on Monday 18. Within two hours of the tickets going on sale, the event was sold out!

Wrestling fans can expect to see Walter as one of three huge matches already on the card. Tag Team belts will be on the line in a ladder match where Gallus will be up against Imperium, Grizzled Young Vets and South Wales Subculture. Other wrestlers expect to make an appearance include Moustache Mountain’s Trent Seven & Tyler Bate, Mark Andrews and Flash Morgan Webster. Kay Lee Ray will defend her NXT UK Women’s Championship against Toni Storm and Piper Niven.

Disappointed fans who couldn’t get their hands on tickets for the show can still follow the action via pay-per-view TV.
